Sarnfaen has been lovingly nurtured into the successful park it is today, thanks to the care and attention of the Pritchard family. Beginning with John Pritchard, a hardworking man from a farming background who together with his daughter Caroline, purchased the Pritchard family’s first Welsh holiday park in 1989, before taking on other holiday parks in Wales. The dedication paid off, as the Pritchard family breathed life into these up-and-coming holiday destinations. As time went on, John sold on some of his projects, leaving Sarnfaen and Madryn Castle as the Pritchard flagship holiday parks.
In the early days, it was all hands on deck. Caroline became the first Park Manager for the family enterprise, and ran Sarnfaen together with her husband Robert. Caroline’s organisation and determination were paramount to its early success, aided by the support of her family and dedicated employees, Sarnfaen holiday park has been lovingly built up to the five-star standards it delivers today. Another key figure in the success of the family venture is Debbie Ball, who joined Sarnfaen in 2001 as an office manager. Through her long-serving dedication and assistance with managing Sarnfaen, she was recently appointed as Pritchard Leisure’s first General Manager. Many of Sarnfaen’s loyal guests and customers have been visiting for decades, and it is easy to see why! Not only is it a short walk to Talybont beach, the local train station and other amenities, the holiday park itself has a magic all of its own.
Both Sarnfaen and Madryn Castle parks have always provided a unique atmosphere, being not just a business venture for the Pritchard family, but a way of life. This has greatly contributed towards their success. Visitors enjoy the family feel, friendly staff, and excellent standards, making every trip a special one.
